Biography:

Born: In Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Education:

1987 – National Academy of Fine Arts, Sofia, specialty Woodcarving.
1980 – High School of Art in Kotel.

Atanas Hranov works range from paintings to wood sculptures. Besides solo exhibitions, he has more than 50 group exhibitions in Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Nederlands, Malta, Greece, Germany, Belgium, Ireland.
Lately he works together with the writer Alexander Sekulov on projects, combining common ideas with different media.
