The exhibition “Fragments” shows paintings with typical for him combination between abstract and classical images.Among the abstract forms are placed parts of capitals, wings of angels, waves, rosettes, ect.

The works of Atanas Hranov have spontaneous character and behind it is hidden the simplicity of pleasure to create forms, which slightly go from one material to another through different dimensions. Hranov’s iconography goes beyond traditional models and creates new mythological forms with symbolic character, new figurativeness with archaic roots.
