This year’s project of Rakursi Art Gallery for presenting young artists is focused on the idea of “Young Artists Present Young Artists”. In March 2014 the gallery published an open invitation to young artists on the topic of “Youth Art as an Object of Desire”. 38 artists responded to the invitation. The works they sent were reviewed by a jury of young artists, who had participated in previous editions of gallery projects – Velislava Gecheva, Zoran Georgiev, Kaliya Kalacheva and Svilena Koleva. Eight artists – Violeta Tanova, Georgi Georgiev, Zoran Mise, Kalina Mavrodieva, Konstantin Kostov, Nora Ampova, Radoil Serafimov, Yavor Bojanov, working in different media, fields and genres of art were selected and now their works are presented in the current gallery exhibition, which will continue until 20th July.
