Valery Chakalov creates a personal visual environment by depicting states – a symbiosis of emotions, thoughts and spirit. The author dives deep into his essence, explores his attitudes and attempts to search for personal freedom. His abstract-geometric paintings, in which he uses various materials and techniques, explore the eternal questions of existence and transformation.

The canvases have finely sculpted shapes set against a black background, which is a hallmark of the artist’s work.
