In the exhibition “Chaldeans” Atanas Hranov tells the stories of people who discovered the stars and split the time. In his paintings slow metaphysical wind carries pieces of the material world, exposing gaps and locks beyond which we could vaguely guess that there is another reality, unknown worlds, and this both frightens and fascinates us. Contemplating the gaps in time, staring at the empty spaces is the power and the magic of this exhibition of Atanas Hranov. While standing in front of his paintings, the anxiety caused by time elapsing is slowly fading, and the star abyss over your head as if started singing.
