ANGELA and ELEONORA TERZIEVI

The 2015 award for promising development and devotion to art of Edmond Demirdjian Foundation was handed to Anjela Terzieva and Eleonora Terzieva.
The jury, consisting of Maria Vasileva, Nadejda Oleg Lyahova, Daniela Radeva, Rumyana Yoneva, Nedko Solakov and Pravdoliub Ivanov follows the participation of young artists on the art scene all year round. The choice is motivated by the high artistic quality of the works of art and the contemporary visual language as well as the perspective for future development of the artists.
Anjela Terzieva was born in 1987 in Sliven. Lives and works in Sofia. In 2006 she graduates from The National School of Art in Sliven “Dimitar Dobrovich” with profile Iconography. In 2012 she completes her Masters degree from the studio of prof. Bojidar Boyadjiev at The National Academy of Fine Art, Sofia. In the show at Rakursi Gallery, Anjela exhibits works from the cycles: Based on a True Story, 2014- 2015 and Total Body, 2015.
Eleonora Terzieva was born in 1989 in Sliven. Lives and works in Sofia. In 2008 graduates the National Art School “Dimitar Dobrovich”, Sliven with profile Textile. In 2014 graduates finishes her Masters degree in Painting in the studio of prof. Bojidar Boyadjiev. The same year she is the winner of the Art residency competition Citе internationale des arts, Paris. Eleonora Terzieva is showing paintings from the cycle Vertigo, 2014.
