The exhibition Cloud, Shadow of the illustrator Kapka Kaneva includes large-format photographs of paper objects designed for the cover of classic or contemporary literary works. The graphic selection combines illustrations of poetry collections, as well as a series of experiments with the paper cloud plastic that the author has been doing lately.
The clouds are also present in the exhibition in the form of plastic originals.
The paper, scissors and focused light, thanks to which the viewer perceives the sculptures and their thrown shadows as drawings, are the main means of expression of the artist, who for several years taught at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia.
