ABOUT THE ARTIST:
“What is of interest to me in painting is the limitless possibilities of expression and inspiration. Working with the paint – its layering and movement, plasticity and ethereality, all add up to a different understanding and experience in the media, being a parallel language of the image. I often turn to images from the surrounding environment, which awaken different associations outside their context. In my work I try to reach an honest, real experience and enjoyment of the painting process.”

Born in 1988 in Gabrovo. Lives and works in Gabrovo, Bulgaria.
2012 – MA in “Painting” from Veliko Turnovo University.

2016 “In memory to face or erased portraits”, gallery “Orlovska 10” – Gabrovo, Bulgaria
2014 , Award of the “Edmond Demirdzhijan” foundation and painting exhibition in Rakursi gallery, Sofia , Bulgaria
He participates in group exhibitions in Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv, Vidin in Bulgaria and in Berlin, Germany and Athens, Greece. He is selected to Imago Mundi project “Save the dreams” – 148 contemporary artists from Bulgaria, presented to Venice biennial, 2015.
