Hristo Haralampiev creates small and monumental sculpture, works also in the field of drawing. Since 1983 he has teached at the University of Architecture, Construction and Geodesy, Sofia, and from 2000 he is a professor at the department „Drawing and Moulding“ of the same university.

Hristo Haralampiev is the president of the Union of Bulgarian Artists between 1999 – 2004.

Works of Hristo Haralampiev are possessed by Bulgarian National Gallery,   Sofia City Gallery, Association “Art Dialogue”, France, Аtelier-gallery “Svetlin Roussev”, art gallerie in the country, and by private collections in Bulgaria, France, Germany, Belgium, Turkey, USA, Canada, Poland, South Korea, etc.
