The Edmond Demirdjiyan Foundation is starting an annual award for an artist working in the field of painting. The selection of the professional jury is focused on artists, who are in the beginning of their carrier, and give indications for promising development and show devotion to art.
The prize gives the awarded the opportunity to show his works in Rakursi Gallery along with the works of the renowned artist Edmond Demirdjiyan, a certificate and the monetary prize of 1000 levs and is going to be held every year.
In this exhibit The Edmond Demirdjiyan Foundation announces the selection for the awarding of the prize to Minko Yovchev. He was born in 1987. Completes the National High School of Fine Arts in Sofia. Currently is a Senior in The National Academy of Fine Art in the studio of prof. Andrei Daniel.
