Andrey Daniel, one of the emblematic painters of our time is showing his oil canvases at Rakursi Gallery between the 8th and the 26th of May 2014.

The show is titled “Back to Paris” and it conveys the artist’s sentiments about Paris- the city layered with french and universal history. The symbols and the metaphors of European culture are materialized in the streets, palaces, galleries and museums. According to the artist Paris gives a different self-esteem to anyone who finds himself in it – it transforms him into a European citizen used to the feeling of freedom and the taste for beauty. And in some way all that gives him a sense of good measure that helps him to make a good judgment, to compare and to understand the world we live in.
