A bizarre mechanism shows the movements of the celestrial bodies
Atanas Hranov shows his new exhibition Astronomy of the Cherries in Rakursi Art Gallery. Fifteen paintings reveal the secret movements of the celestrial bodies through the last dance of the cherry blossom. A telescope is a dandelion stem and a magnifying glass – a tear of a sudden laughter. Only through this bizarre mechanism the eyes of the “astronomer” discern how the loci of cherry blossom cross asteroids of sudden love, how feelings blossom like new galaxies in the mind of the Lazy creator, how from the crown of the celestrial tree shed white stars, which never fall or die in the endless space.
