Alexander Valchev was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. He lives and works in Sofia.
In 1998 he graduated in Sculpture, MD from the National Academy of Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria, in the class of Prof. Krum Damianov. He graduated in Photography, MD from New Bulgarian University in 2013. In 2004 he was a resident artist in the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, France and in 2008 he received a scholarship to specialize at “CCN” Graz, Austria.
