Rakursi Art Gallery presents the exhibition of Ilian Lalev from the “Missed Opportunity” cycle. The artist is known mainly for his works on plywood, as well as video art and installations. In this exhibition he shows paintings from a cycle he has worked on for the last 3 – 4- years called “Missed Opportunity”.

Ilian Lalev was born in 1962 in the town of Nova Zagora.

In 1987 he graduated from the National Art Academy in Sofia, specialty “Painting”.

In the 2001 he gained the Cité Internationale des Arts scholarship, Paris.

He has had a number of solo and group exhibitions in the country, as well as abroad.
