Rakursi Art Gallery is the host of the presentation of the book “The 8th of March Group. A Brief History of Art in the Last 25 Years in Texts and Images” on December, the 12th 2014 at 6:00 pm. The 8th of March Group exists since 1997 as the assertive women voice in the contemporary Bulgarian art. The current issue gathers seven female artists – Adelina Popnedeleva, Alla Georgieva, Boryana Rossa, Daniela Kostova, Nadezhda Oleg Lyahova, Nina Kovacheva and Silvia Lazarova and the curator Maria Vassileva. They answer 8 questions in regards to the latest situation in the Bulgarian contemporary art and the position of each group member in it.
