Exhibition
“Gravitation”
Dimo Kolibarov
25 November – 14 December 2009
Rakursi Art Gallery presents the exhibition “Gravitation” of Dimo Kolibarov. The idea of the exhibition derives from the artist’s notion to raise the question over the fact whether the man is able to overcome the gravitation of his own everyday life filled with doubt, vanity and temptations. Whether he has managed to preserve his ability to discover his inner harmony in the one of nature.
The heroes, covered in anonymity, are gathered from different time periods, they seem to catch the pieces of happiness and puts them in a puzzle of the understanding of evanescence and transiency.
The exhibition presents 30 of the artist’s recent graphics in the technique of etching, lithography, aquatint.
