The graphic artist Rumen Nechev presents in his exhibition “The Engraver and the Graphite” drawings and engravings. He works out an idea of the black and white and their meeting in the graphite and the silver. The graphite brings the black and white together because it makes blackness on the white, but on the black it gleams, grows light. The graphite somehow predicts the soft glitter of the genuine precious metal, build in the drawings, shown in this exhibition.
